please help.

GST Rate for Government Works Contracts Reduced to 12% from 18%; Clarification on Exemptions and Official Notification Pending. A discussion on a forum addressed the Goods and Services Tax (GST) applicable to works contract services provided to government authorities. The initial query questioned whether the GST rate of 18% applied to services provided to government entities such as the Ministry of Defence, noting that these services were previously exempt from service tax. Respondents clarified that no exemptions currently exist, distinguishing between full government bodies and government authorities. A follow-up mentioned a GST Council meeting where the GST rate for state and central works contracts was reportedly reduced to 12%, with a query about the availability of the official notification.
