Manpower supplier and transporters requires GST Registration?

GST registration required for manpower suppliers and transporters; reverse charge applicability depends on future rules.
Suppliers of manpower and providers of transport services are required to obtain GST registration. Whether GST for these services will be payable under the reverse charge mechanism or otherwise will be determined only upon issuance of the relevant rules and notifications by the government. (AI Summary)

Dear Sir,

We are paying service tax for manpower and transport under rcm.

Our question is whether the service provider has to get registered themselves with the GST .

Please clarify.

Thanks & Regards,

S.Ramakrishnan

Sir,

Yes you have to get registered under GST Acts. But whether you have to pay GST under reverse charge or othwerwise will be known only when the rules.notifications are issued by the government.
