Factory act

Guest

I would like to know the records to be maintained as per Factories act Tamilnadu.

Can we maintained records in soft copy or should we maintain registers manually.

Recordkeeping obligation: prescribed factory registers must be maintained in physical form, not as primary electronic records. Primary requirement under the Factories Act framework is that prescribed registers and primary records must be kept in physical form; electronic or soft-copy records are not acceptable substitutes at the primary level, and factory management must maintain the statutory registers in the formats and with the retention practices specified in the rules.
