TDS not filed by Employer

Guest

Hi,

My Ex-Employer has deducted tax for FY2012-13, FY2013-14 and FY2014-15 from my salary but is not paying TDS to IT Dept. I have been following up, but I have lost hope that they will pay and give me Form16s.

What are my options, What all can I do now?

Thanks

TDS non-payment by employer may be addressed by filing a complaint with tax authorities using payroll evidence. Employee reports employer deducted TDS from salary across multiple years but did not deposit it nor issue Form 16. Recommended remedial action is filing a complaint with the jurisdictional tax authorities, supported by documentary evidence such as pay slips showing the deducted TDS to establish non-payment and prompt investigation of the employer's deposit obligation. You may file complaint to your jurisdictional Authorities of Income Tax Department with documentary evidence such as pay slip in which TDS is shown.
