How to get refund of SAD paid on importation of raw material & finished goods is sold in domestic market ?

Please elaborate this issue step by step with official notification / circular number to satisfy GVAT authorities.

SAD refund claims require filing with the jurisdictional customs officer within the prescribed period under the relevant customs notification. Persons who imported goods and subsequently sold them in the domestic market on payment of VAT may be entitled to a refund of the additional duty; the claim must be filed with the jurisdictional customs officer within the prescribed limitation period and in accordance with the procedural requirements and forms specified in the relevant customs notification and its amendments, and the customs authorities will adjudicate and grant the refund. You can avail the SAD Refund on the goods which were imported but sold as such on payment of VAT. Please check 102/2007 -Customs Notification in this regard. SAD Refund shall be granted by Customs Authorities.

The importer shall file a claim for refund of the additional duty of customs paid on the imported goods with the jurisdictional customs officer before the expiry of one year from the date of payment of the said additional duty of customs.
