Return - Foreign Companies

Rohit Kapoor

Dear Professional Colleagues,

Please guide me on how to get the refund already determined by the tax department for a foreign company who has filed return in India. The refund notification received through CPC does not ask for bank details of foreign companies rather ask for IFSC code and other details only. One of my professional friend said that we need to approach CIT at CPC as there is no valid process of issuing refund to Foreign Companies?

Please advise.

Foreign Company Tax Refund in India Hindered by Missing Bank Detail Process, Seeks Advice on Next Steps A user is seeking guidance on obtaining a tax refund for a foreign company that filed a return in India. The issue arises because the refund notification from the Centralized Processing Center (CPC) requires an IFSC code and other details but does not request the bank details of foreign companies. A colleague suggested that the user might need to contact the Commissioner of Income Tax (CIT) at the CPC, as there appears to be no established process for issuing refunds to foreign companies. The user is requesting advice from professional colleagues on how to proceed. (AI Summary)
