About Service tax And Service Charge

sharafat ansari

Respected Sir,

I work in Aadhaar card as a Supervisor. Government give contract to agency for pay salary and other service. Agency Deduct Service tax and service charge from Operator/Supervisor salary but not show in pay sleep.

Agency owner says he can't show Service tax and service charge in salary sleep/Pay Sleep it is true or false.

Why Agency owner not show Service tax and service charge in salary sleep/Pay Sleep.

Supervisor Queries Unexplained Service Tax Deductions; Agency Fails to Reflect on Pay Slip. Seek Clarification and Certificate. An individual working as a supervisor for an Aadhaar card project raised a query about service tax and service charges being deducted from their salary by an agency contracted by the government. The agency does not reflect these deductions on the pay slip. One response suggested obtaining a certificate confirming the service tax has been deposited with the government. Another advised questioning the agency about the deductions. A third response noted that the deducted amount does not constitute salary. (AI Summary)
