Section 19 of TNVAT Act, 2006 does not specify that the invoice based on which the Input Tax Credit shall be claimed be signed manually or digitally. Hence in my view the Input Tax Credit is eligible to the purchaser if the tax has been paid to the supplier. The act also stipultates that the supplier who has collected tax from the purchaser should also deposit the tax so collected into the treasury of the Govt. In order to enable the purchaser to claim the Input Tax Credit.
Dear Sir
Thanks for your reply, we request you to kindly share any circular/Go/Notification, if any
Thanks
