Dear Experts,

Earlier Stay provision was there but i think there is some change in the said provision.

Thanks in advance.

Seeking Guidance on Mandatory Pre-Deposit for Appeals: Can a Stay Be Obtained from Tax Authorities? An individual is seeking advice on whether a mandatory pre-deposit is required when filing an appeal with the Commissioner of Income Tax (Appeals) or if they can obtain a stay from the Assessing Officer or the Commissioner of Income Tax (Appeals). They mention that there was a previous provision for a stay but believe there may have been changes to this provision. They are requesting guidance from experts on the current requirements.
