Export of excisable intermediate goods permitted under LUT when properly documented and recorded in excise records.
Intermediate components that are excisable and marketable independently may be exported under a LUT without payment of duty, provided the exporter maintains proper excise records; alternatively, exports can proceed with duty payment followed by rebate claims. (AI Summary)

Dear Sir,

We are manufacturer of Electrical switch, Socket, Board and parts thereof .

We sale the intermediate parts to our inter unit which is situated in Haridwar they process these intermediate parts into FG and than sale to market.

My question is can we sale the same intermediate items to Out of India as a Export Under LUT with out payment of Duty.

Regards

Swapneswar

Dear friend

It is understood that your intermediate products excitable goods and are capable of being sold independently though they can be used as intermediate good for assembling/manufacturing other final products.

in view of they being excitable, there is no problem for your exporting them either under LUT or or payment of duty under claim for rebate

Hope it is clear.
