Swapneswar

Exporting Excisable Parts Allowed Under LUT; Record Transactions for Compliance and Possible Duty Rebate A manufacturer of electrical components inquired about exporting intermediate parts without paying duty under a Letter of Undertaking (LUT). Several responses confirmed that exporting these excisable intermediate goods is permissible under LUT or with duty payment and rebate claim. The manufacturer was advised to record such transactions in excise records. The discussion concluded with the manufacturer expressing gratitude for the guidance received. (AI Summary)
