Service Tax Invoice Issuance Only Valid Post-Registration, Collection Pre-Registration Unauthorized A user inquired about the eligibility to pay service tax on an invoice issued on August 24, 2015, when their registration was completed on August 25, 2015. The response from a company clarified that a service tax invoice can only be issued after the registration date, as collecting service tax prior to registration is unauthorized. (AI Summary)
