We want to know the road permit required in following case:

1. Billing address is in Maharastra and delivery address is in Gujarat. Need to know whether on line road permit is required or manual will work for this transaction.

2. Billing address is in Gujarat and delivery address is also in Gujarat. Need to know whether on line road permit is required or manual will work for this transaction.

As you didn't mention the state from where the good shall move; hence I am giving my view assuming that the goods shall move from outside Gujarat.

In both case, the movement of goods is in Gujarat, so in bound road permit requires. Form 403 is required for shipments traveling to Gujarat.

If any Shipments found traveling to Gujarat without FORM 403, are liable to be seized and will attract heavy penalty.

Gujarat state commercial tax department have not fixed any value limit for transactions. Any shipment of any value travelling to or From Gujarat state require Electronic generated Road Permit.

Validity period of Form No 403 is 15 days after generation.

We have been using form 403 (one line) to dispatch material from Haryana to Gujarat when billing and delivery both address are in Gujarat.

I wish to re-forward my query as below:

We want to send material from Haryana. Billing address is in Maharashtra. delivery address is in Gujarat.

Need to know whether we need to fill on line road permit (403) in this case also or manual road permit (405).
