Which is the effective date for New Service tax rate i.e. @14% is applicable.

Pl. Advice.

Service tax rate change becomes effective in early June following the notified amendment, altering taxable services' levy. The revised service tax rate is effective from 1 June 2015 pursuant to Notification No. 14/2015 ST dated 19.5.2015; the notification governs applicability of the amended rate to taxable services on and after that date. It is effective from 1.6.2015.vide Notification No. 14/2015-ST dated 19.5.2015.
