Pls note that our company's product (WIND MILL TOWER and its spares) is exempted from excise duty as per central excise notification no 12/2012 central excise dated 17/3/12 sr no 332 and list no 8 and item no 13. Now many of our items wch we need to import as per client requirements, need your guidelines for our mfg products wch covers under MNRE approval, so would like to know weather we can apply for IMPORT DUTY BENEFIT SCHEME under this MNRE duty free programme?? For your kind reference i have attached (1) new guidelines for duty exemption of excise and customs under MNRE (2) International TPP DFTP , so requested to go through these attachments carefully and guide us for the same asap.

Company Seeks Customs Duty Exemption for Windmill Spares; MNRE Certificate Required for Import Benefits Under Notification 12/2012. A company inquires about customs duty exemptions for importing windmill tower spares under the MNRE duty-free program. They reference central excise notification 12/2012, which exempts their products from excise duty, and seek guidance on applying for import duty benefits. A respondent advises that a certificate from MNRE is necessary for each item and spare part to qualify for customs duty exemption, indicating that importing without this certificate is not possible.
