Respected Sir,

As regarding above subject, one of my clients has gone for expansion of the premises and due to this expansion by purchasing the nearby plot there has been the change of address now v have 2 inform to the excise department about this online then relating to this expansion there can be a change in the FORM RC or not, if there is a change then v have to get issued the new form RC or v have surrender the old and get if new.

Please see Notification No. 35/2001-C.E. (NT) dated 26.6.2001 as amended to solve your problem. Since tht notification is lengthier one I am not able to reproduce the same here.

Due to change of location,pl. go for amendment in www.aces.gov.in. Amendment is possible because new location is near to old one,hence Commissionerate and Division must be same. In your case , Range may be same,even it is different than Amendment is possible. Also submit Original RC ,so u can new RC with new address.
