Export proof submission

Guest

We are new merchant exporters, we purchase goods from a local manufacturer by giving CT1 bond, ARE1 forms. We have executed bond in our jurisdiction but the manufacturer is demanding shipping bill and bill of lading as proof of export saying they need to submit them to the central excise range, we are afraid that if we give them those they will know the price and client details. Is there any way to do something else than giving those proofs? Please provide us solution.

Thanks in advance.

Exporter Concerned About Sharing Shipping Documents; Advised to Submit to CT-1 Authority for Proof of Export Acceptance. A merchant exporter expressed concerns about providing a local manufacturer with shipping bills and bills of lading as proof of export, fearing exposure of pricing and client details. Respondents advised that the exporter should submit export documents to the CT-1 issuing authority, which will issue a letter of acceptance as proof of export. This letter should be forwarded to the manufacturer for their records. An acknowledged copy of document submission can be provided to the manufacturer until the proof of export is received. Another participant inquired about the obligations and responsibilities related to submitting proof of export. (AI Summary)

Sir,

The export documents are to be submitted to the CT-1 issuing authority who shall Issue a letter as acceptance of proof of export for the export of goods; a copy of such letter has to be forwarded to the local manufacturer for their own record.

Till the proof of export copy is received, you may in the meantime provide Acknowledged copy to the local manufacturer pertaining to submission of documents for proof of export to the department, as referred above,
