Documents to be submitted in Excise office for export to SEZ

Utsav upadhyay

I have a client in SEZ to whom I exported the goods.I am an excise dealer and merchant exporter. I have asked excise rebate by my manufacturer. But he do not know the process for filing rebate through ARE-1. Please tell me what documents should he submit to the Excise department.

Excise Rebate Claim for SEZ Exports Requires Custom Attested ARE-1 Submission Within 45 Days of Clearance Date An excise dealer and merchant exporter inquired about the necessary documents for filing an excise rebate for goods exported to a Special Economic Zone (SEZ). The exporter, seeking guidance for their manufacturer, was informed that the same documents required for a normal export rebate claim are needed for SEZ exports. Specifically, the exporter must submit the Custom Attested ARE-1 as proof of export within 45 days from the clearance date to the jurisdictional Assistant Commissioner or Deputy Commissioner.
