Manufacturing Company Needs CT3 Form for Duty-Free Supply to EOU; Duty Payment Required Without It, per Notification 22/2003. A manufacturing company inquires about supplying materials to a 100% Export Oriented Unit (EOU) without a CT3 form. One customer proposes providing the CT3 form post-supply. An expert clarifies that the CT3 certificate is necessary to clear goods without duty. Without it, duty must be paid, but the EOU can claim credit for the duty paid. Another expert confirms that goods can be removed on duty payment, referencing Notification No. 22/2003. Corrections and clarifications are made regarding the initial response, emphasizing the importance of possessing the CT3 form at the time of clearance. (AI Summary)
