Kraft paper manufacturer seeks guidance on completing first ER IV return, questions inclusion of non-CENVAT items and capital goods. An individual from a kraft paper manufacturing unit seeks clarification on completing their first ER IV return, specifically regarding the total value of inputs for which CENVAT credit is availed or not availed. They are confused about whether to include certain items like stores and capital goods. A respondent advises considering all inputs, packing materials, and components for which CENVAT credit is availed, and excluding those used exclusively for manufacturing exempted materials. The individual remains uncertain and requests further clarification, noting they have no exempted materials and questioning the inclusion of non-CENVAT items. (AI Summary)
