CENVAT credit available in full for non-SSI imports, including AED and CVD as per bill of entry.
For a non-SSI unit, full CENVAT credit is available on import duties for capital goods, including Additional Excise Duty and countervailing duty components, provided those duties are paid and recorded on the bill of entry; the SSI 50% restriction does not apply. (AI Summary)

Dear Sir,

We hv imported a Machine in which AED 4 percent is applicable, so pls reply can take full credit of AED of only 50 percent credit is available. Pls note that we are a Non SSI Unit (our turnover greater than Rs.4.0 crore)
