VAT is applicable on (IT) Software or any Media

Hi All,

We required  valuable inputs from Advocates, Experts those have taken care of UP VAT.

As per UP VAT Act there is Levy of VAT on Software (IT) or any media, entry No.2126 of the Book Garg & Gayal.

Q. Is Website design & development covered under this head or any other head?

Q.  Is Web Application design & development, collateral design & development, PPC design & development, LOGO & Banner design and development etc. covered under this head?

Q. If above yes, Shall we take VAT registration & pay VAT along with Service Tax? or  only VAT or only Service Tax.

Please help out with proper reply.
