Export to Bangladesh by road

Yatin Bhopi

We are manufacturer exporter. We want to export goods to Bangladesh by road without payment of duty and without excise supervision i.e. examination of goods at the place of export by customs at land custom station. Please let me know whether procedure is same as Normal export i.e. preparation of ARE-1, excise invoice etc.

Exporter Queries Duty-Free Road Transport to Bangladesh; Customs Supervision and 'Bill of Export' Required for Compliance. A manufacturer-exporter inquires about exporting goods to Bangladesh by road without paying duty and without excise supervision at the factory, seeking confirmation if the procedure aligns with normal exports involving ARE-1 and excise invoices. A respondent clarifies that exports cannot proceed without customs supervision and require submission of a 'Bill of Export' with detailed information, including packing lists, invoices, and other relevant documents. The exporter intends to have goods examined at the land customs station, similar to other exports where goods are transported in loose drums to the port for customs examination. (AI Summary)

Strictly NO, you can't export without supervision of the custom authority, you must submit 'Bill of Export' in the prescribed form containing the prescribed details such as the name of the exporter, consignee, invoice number, details of packing, description of goods, quantity, FOB value, etc. Along with, other documents such as copy of packing list, invoices, export contract, letter of credit, etc. are also to be submitted.

We want to export wihtout excise supervisionin in the factory (but examination will be done at Land custom station, same as in other exports we send goods in loose drums to port in truck and then customs officers do the examination).

In this case we will send the goods in truck and customs officer at land custom station will do the examination
