Export of extra repacking material with packed goods

Guest

Please we are exporting construction chemical in 6000 paper pouches packed in cartons.

We want to send additional empty paper pouches to custumer in the same container.Does custopm allow the same while stuffing and what procedure we have to follow. If you can give supporting circular number that will be great.

Company Seeks Guidance on Exporting Extra Empty Pouches; Must Include in Export Documents and Ensure Foreign Remittance A company exporting construction chemicals in paper pouches seeks guidance on including additional empty pouches in the same shipment. They inquire about customs procedures and relevant documentation, such as the Export Invoice and Shipping Bill. A respondent advises that the extra pouches should be listed in the necessary export documents and mentions the importance of receiving foreign remittance within the prescribed time. The discussion references the Export Procedure under relevant trade and customs laws, confirming that exporting non-prohibited items is permissible. The inquirer expresses gratitude for the prompt assistance. (AI Summary)

You would have to provide the information about such paper pouches in the Export Invoice, Packing List, ARE-1, Shipping Bill and Bill of Lading.

Foreign remittance should be received within prescribed time limit

It comes under the Export Procedure where in an exporter is allowed to export anything which is not prohibited or restricted under the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation Act) read with FTP 2009-14, HBP Vol.1 and Customs & Central Excise Laws.
