tds refundable

Khushboo Gutgutia

Dear sir,

I havea query relating to TDS Refundable.

The details of TDS Refundable is as follows:

Financial year-1999-2000 amount Rs. 17300

and Financial year 2010-2011 amount Rs. 19800.

But i have not yet received the refund amount. In this regard what further steps can be taken by me so that I would get the refund amount at the earliest.

Please guide us what we can do.

Guide to Claiming TDS Refunds for 1999-2000 and 2010-2011: Steps for Manual and E-Filed Returns An individual inquired about the process for obtaining a refund for Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) for the financial years 1999-2000 and 2010-2011, as they have not yet received the refund. A chartered accountant advised that for the 1999-2000 refund, the individual should visit the relevant tax ward with necessary documentation, as e-filing was not available then. For the 2010-2011 refund, if the return was filed online, they should request a refund re-issue via the income tax e-filing portal. If filed manually, the same procedure as the earlier year applies.
