<h1>Advance Increments for Income-Tax Department Staff Continue Post-Revised Pay Scales from January 1986.</h1> The scheme for granting advance increments to staff in the Income-tax Department, including positions such as LDCs, UDCs, Inspectors, Head Clerks, Supervisors, and Stenographers, upon passing the Departmental Examination for the next higher grade, will continue despite the implementation of revised pay scales effective from January 1, 1986. This decision has been made in agreement with the Department of Expenditure and the Department of Personnel and Training. All officers in the region should be informed of this continuation.
