The circular issued by the Office of the Commissioner of Value Added Tax in Delhi outlines a revised work allocation for handling appeals and revisions under the CST Act and the erstwhile DST Act. The Addl. Commissioner II is tasked with handling appeals and revisions above Rs. 15 lakhs for Zones I and II, including responsibilities in audit, enforcement, systems, and IT. The Joint Commissioner is assigned appeals and revisions between Rs. 50,000 and Rs. 15 lakhs for Zone VII, along with audit duties. Additional enforcement and audit responsibilities are assigned to Zonal Deputy Commissioners for Zones VI and VII. This order is effective immediately with the Commissioner's approval.
