of <h1>Phytosanitary Certificate Requirement for Imported Packaging Materials Postponed Indefinitely by Ministry of Agriculture Notification.</h1> The Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, issued a directive regarding the implementation of sub-clause (22), clause (3) of the Plant Quarantine (Regulation of Import into India) Order, 2003. Initially set to commence on April 1, 2004, the requirement for a phytosanitary certificate for packaging materials of imported goods was postponed to June 1, 2004. All relevant parties are instructed to withhold the implementation of this provision from June 1, 2004, until further notice, as per the notification issued by the Ministry of Agriculture, Department of Agriculture and Cooperation.
