of <h1>DGFT revises SION A-290 Metformin HCL import norms, clarifying Dicyanodiamide and DMF unit quantities under FTP 2023</h1> Public Notice No. 37/2025-26 issued by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade under the Foreign Trade Policy 2023 amends the Unit of Measurement for import items under SION A-290 relating to Metformin HCL. For the export product Metformin HCL (1 kg), the import item 'Dicyanodiamide' is revised from '0.567 kg/kg' to '0.567 Kg.' and 'DMF' from '0.37 kg/kg' to '0.37 Kg.' The amendments clarify quantity description and take effect immediately for all relevant foreign trade transactions.
