of <h1>Pre-shipment inspection agencies' empanelment updated: 2 approved, 11 add instruments, online certificates allowed under Appendix-2G</h1> A government trade authority public notice dated 10.12.2025 updates Appendix-2G under the Foreign Trade Policy 2023 and incorporates decisions of the 27th inter-ministerial committee meeting (25.06.2025) for empanelment and operation of pre-shipment inspection agencies. It records approval of two new/renewed agencies, recognition of eleven existing agencies to add specified inspection instruments, and amendment of one agency's head office address. Agencies are authorized to issue online pre-shipment inspection certificates from the publication date, subject to maintaining valid instrument calibration, furnishing a valid bank guarantee, updating equipment-to-area mapping on the portal, and maintaining a registered office and nationalized-bank account in India. Approval validity is generally three years.
