of <h1>Customs launches ICEGATE Warehouse Module for fully digital bonded warehouse licensing, transfers, returns, audit trails and notifications</h1> Customs has digitized bonded warehouse processes via an ICEGATE Warehouse Module to enable online applications for warehouse licenses, electronic processing of transfers (ownership changes, inter-warehouse moves, or both) and uploading of monthly returns. The module records item-, bill-of-entry- and party-level details, validates IECs, manages triple-duty and transhipment bond entries (physical bond submission at ports remains required for ICES bond-number generation), and preserves audit trails while physical transfer forms continue until integration. Officers will review/approve requests and confirm receipts; real-time bond debits/credits and notifications to the port of import are implemented. A nodal officer and helpdesk emails are provided for grievances.
