of <h1>DGFT expands General Authorisation for Export of Chemicals under Paragraph 10.16, streamlining online applications</h1> The Directorate General of Foreign Trade has amended Paragraph 10.16 of the Handbook of Procedures 2023 to broaden the General Authorisation for Export of Chemicals and Related Equipment (GAEC). The amendment includes chemicals listed in Appendix 10(N) for export or re-export to specified countries, requiring exporters to apply online and submit detailed information via proforma ANF-10A. Additionally, exporters intending to ship to countries not listed in Appendix 10(N) must provide a list of such destinations for review. Exporters may also submit Authorised Economic Operator certification or Status Holder Certificate if available. This amendment expands the scope of GAEC to cover more countries and streamlines the export authorization process for specified chemicals and related equipment.
