of <h1>DGFT Suspends Inactive Standard Input-Output Norms (SION) from April 1, 2024; Stakeholders to Respond by March 15, 2024.</h1> The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has announced the suspension of certain Standard Input-Output Norms (SION) effective from April 1, 2024, as per Public Notice No. 44/2023 dated February 22, 2024. These SIONs, listed in Annexure 'A,' have been inactive for the past five years. Stakeholders wishing to reinstate any SION must submit their representations via email by March 15, 2024. The suspension is enacted under the authority of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2023, and aims to streamline and update the list of active norms.
