of <h1>Amendment to Amnesty Scheme: Registration Deadline Extended to Dec 31, 2023; Payment Deadline Now March 31, 2024.</h1> The Directorate General of Foreign Trade has issued an amendment to the Amnesty Scheme for one-time settlement of export obligation defaults by Advance and EPCG authorization holders. The deadline for registration under the scheme has been extended to December 31, 2023, and the deadline for payment of Customs duty plus interest is now March 31, 2024. This amendment modifies Public Notice No. 02/2023, while other provisions remain unchanged. The scheme is part of the Foreign Trade Policy 2023, allowing eligible authorization holders to settle their obligations under revised timelines.
