of <h1>Mobile & Electronic Devices Export Council Added to Foreign Trade Policy for RCMC Issuance.</h1> The Directorate General of Foreign Trade has amended Appendix 2T of the Foreign Trade Policy 2015-2020 to include the Mobile and Electronic Devices Export Promotion Council (MEDEPC) as a recognized body for issuing Registration-Cum-Membership Certificates (RCMC) for specified electronic products and components. This addition, effective immediately, allows MEDEPC to handle RCMC issuance for items such as smartphones, smartwatches, televisions, and various electronic parts and accessories. Previously issued RCMCs by other councils like the Telecom Equipment and Services Export Promotion Council will remain valid until their expiration.
