of <h1>Deadline Extended for Mandatory E-Filing of Certificates of Origin to August 1, 2022; Manual Filing Allowed Until Then.</h1> The Directorate General of Foreign Trade, under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, has extended the deadline for mandatory electronic filing of Non-Preferential Certificates of Origin through the Common Digital Platform to August 1, 2022. Until then, exporters and issuing agencies can continue using the manual/paper mode for processing applications. After this date, non-compliance with the online system may result in penal action, including de-listing as an authorized agency. Stakeholders are advised to familiarize themselves with the online system and report any IT-related issues for resolution. This directive is issued with the approval of the competent authority.
