of <h1>Kamarajar Port Added as Designated Port for Unshredded Scrap Imports in Updated Handbook of Procedure 2015-2020.</h1> The Director General of Foreign Trade has updated the Handbook of Procedure 2015-2020 to include Kamarajar Port as a designated port for the import of unshredded metallic scrap and waste. This amendment is made under the powers conferred by the Foreign Trade Policy, 2015-2020. The revised list now includes 18 ports, ensuring that imports of scrap occur exclusively through these designated locations, with no exceptions for Export Oriented Units (EOUs) or Special Economic Zones (SEZs). This update follows Public Notice No. 31/2015-20 dated December 1, 2020.
