of <h1>DGFT Launches New Online Module for Import Authorizations of Restricted Items, Effective March 22, 2021.</h1> The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has introduced a new online module for filing electronic applications for import authorizations of restricted items, effective from March 22, 2021. Applicants must apply via the DGFT website, with all applications being processed at DGFT HQ in New Delhi. Pending applications have been migrated to this system. For re-validation or amendment of authorizations issued before this date, applications should be submitted to the concerned Regional Authority. For those issued after, electronic submission to DGFT HQ is required. Assistance is available through the DGFT Helpdesk and other support channels.
