of <h1>Pollachi, Tamil Nadu, Named Town of Export Excellence for Coir Products in Foreign Trade Policy Amendment.</h1> The Directorate General of Foreign Trade, under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, has amended Appendix 1B of the Handbook of Procedures 2015-20. This amendment designates Pollachi, located in Tamil Nadu, as a Town of Export Excellence specifically for coir and coir products. This change is enacted under the authority of paragraph 1.03 of the Foreign Trade Policy 2015-20, as announced in Public Notice No. 57/2015-20 dated January 29, 2020.
