of <h1>Exim Bank Grants USD 30M Credit to Ghana for Yendi Water System Upgrade with 75% Indian Sourcing Requirement.</h1> Exim Bank has established a USD 30 million Line of Credit (LoC) with the Government of Ghana to finance the rehabilitation and upgrade of the potable water system in Yendi. This agreement, effective from October 11, 2019, mandates that at least 75% of the goods, works, and services under the contract be sourced from India, with the remainder potentially sourced internationally. The LoC has a utilization period of 60 months post-project completion. Export transactions under this LoC must comply with Reserve Bank instructions, and no agency commission is payable, although exporters may use their funds for commission payments.
