of <h1>Authorized Facilities Required for Handling Hazardous Cargo Under Customs Regulations from March 1, 2011.</h1> Public Notice No. 18/2011, issued by the Commissioner of Customs (Export) at Jawaharlal Nehru Custom House, addresses the handling of hazardous cargo under the Handling of Cargo in Customs Areas Regulations, 2009. It specifies that only authorized facilities, such as CFS M/s Navkar-II in Raigad, Maharashtra, are permitted to handle hazardous cargo from March 1, 2011. Unauthorized facilities must cease handling such cargo, and shipping lines are responsible for ensuring hazardous cargo is directed to authorized locations. Any issues with these regulations should be reported to the Commissioner of Customs (Export).
