of <h1>Customs to Expedite Drawback Claims in May and June 2012 with Special Cells and Nodal Officers' Assistance.</h1> The Central Board of Excise and Customs has designated May and June 2012 as Drawback Clearance Months to address pending drawback claims. Special Drawback Cells have been established in each Customs formation to expedite the liquidation of these claims. A Nodal Officer and an Assistant Nodal Officer have been appointed to oversee and assist the operations of these cells. Exporters and Custom House Agents are advised to contact these officers for the resolution of pending claims. The initiative aims to streamline the process and ensure timely clearance of all outstanding drawback claims.
