of <h1>India Launches Nationwide Paperless Export Processing via eSANCHIT Under SWIFT Initiative; Mandatory in 15 Days.</h1> The Government of India has implemented a paperless processing system for exports under the SWIFT initiative, allowing the digital upload of supporting documents through the eSANCHIT platform. Initially piloted in New Delhi and Chennai, this facility is now extended nationwide for all export types under the Indian Customs EDI System (ICES). Authorized users can upload documents to ICEGATE, link them to Shipping Bills, and address Customs queries electronically. The system mandates retaining original documents for five years. Following a 15-day review period, the process will become mandatory. Trade associations are urged to disseminate this information widely.
