of <h1>Kolkata Zone GST Jurisdiction Reorganized for Efficient Administration and Trade Facilitation, Effective June 22, 2017.</h1> The geographical jurisdiction of the Principal Chief Commissioner in the Kolkata Zone has been reorganized under the Goods and Services Tax (GST) framework, as per Government of India notifications. The jurisdictional details for the Central Goods and Service Tax (CGST) Commissionerates, Divisions, Ranges, Audit Commissionerates, Audit Circles, and Appeal Commissionerates within the Kolkata Zone are specified in the annexures of this trade notice. This reorganization, effective from June 22, 2017, aims to streamline administrative control and facilitate trade and industry operations. The notice is issued with the approval of the Chief Commissioner, Central Excise, Kolkata Zone.
