of <h1>Income Declaration Scheme: Payments made by October 3, 2017, accepted due to bank holidays. Compliance deadline: August 31, 2019.</h1> The circular addresses procedural issues related to the payment of the third installment under the Income Declaration Scheme, 2016. Due to bank holidays on 30th September, 2017, payments made on 3rd October, 2017, are considered timely. Additionally, payments tendered by 30th September but credited by banks by 5th October are also deemed on-time. The Principal Commissioners of Income Tax are instructed to verify and report these cases to ensure compliance. All related actions must be completed by 31st August, 2019.
