of <h1>Tamil Nadu Advance Ruling Authority Appoints New Member, Joint Commissioner Holds Additional Charge Under GST Act 2017.</h1> The Tamil Nadu Authority for Advance Ruling has been constituted under the Tamil Nadu Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, as communicated by the Commissioner of Commercial Taxes. An amendment dated 17.05.2018 appoints a new member, who will hold an additional charge as Joint Commissioner of the Advance Ruling Authority. The Authority now includes two members: a Joint Commissioner of GST & Central Excise and a Joint Commissioner (CT) with additional responsibilities. All relevant officers and trade associations are instructed to disseminate this information among their members and jurisdictions.
