of <h1>Indore Customs Enforces Paperless Import Processing via SWIFT System; Digital Uploads Required from March 15, 2018.</h1> The Customs Commissionerate in Indore has mandated the paperless processing of import documents via the SWIFT system, effective March 15, 2018. Importers, exporters, and customs brokers must upload digitally signed supporting documents for all bills of entry through the e-SANCHIT facility on ICEGATE. This initiative aims to reduce physical interactions, expedite import clearance, and improve efficiency. While certain original documents may still require physical verification, all documents must be uploaded digitally. The facility has been introduced to streamline operations and feedback is encouraged to address any implementation challenges.
