of <h1>Hyderabad Customs Jurisdiction Expands Across Telangana; New Export Promotion Division to Boost Efficiency Per Notification No. 82/2017.</h1> The Hyderabad Customs Commissionerate's jurisdiction has been revised to cover the entire state of Telangana, effective September 15, 2017, as per Notification No. 82/2017-Customs (NT). The Commissionerate, led by a Principal Commissioner, will include various customs formations such as Inland Container Depots, a Container Freight Station, an Air Cargo Complex, and the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport. A new Export Promotion Division (EPD) is being established to handle customs functions previously managed by Central Excise formations. The EPD, led by a Deputy/Assistant Commissioner, will oversee three Export Promotion Circles, each managed by a Superintendent of Customs.
