of <h1>SEBI Simplifies Annual Statistical Report Format for Mutual Funds; Revised Submission Deadline Set for April 30 Annually.</h1> The circular issued by the Mutual Funds Department of SEBI addresses all registered mutual funds, the Unit Trust of India, and the Association of Mutual Funds in India. It announces a revision and simplification of the Annual Statistical Report (ASR) format, originally mandated in a 1997 circular. Mutual funds are required to submit the revised ASR for the financial year 2001-02 by May 15, 2002, and by April 30 of each subsequent year. The ASR must include data on the unitholding pattern, categorized by individuals, NRIs/OCBs, FIIs, and corporates/institutions/others, with net asset values provided.
