of <h1>Puducherry Central Tax Commissionerate Established, Restructuring Jurisdictions for CGST, Excise, and Service Tax as per Notification No. 02/2017-Central Tax.</h1> The Puducherry Central Tax Commissionerate has been established, reorganizing the jurisdiction of the Puducherry Central Excise and Service Tax Commissionerate as per Notification No. 02/2017-Central Tax by CBEC. The new jurisdiction includes divisions and ranges for Central Goods and Services Tax (CGST), Central Excise, and Service Tax matters. The Cuddalore Division is now under the Tiruchirappalli CGST Commissionerate, and the Villupuram Division is under the Chennai - Outer CGST Commissionerate. The CGST Karaikal Division is incorporated into this Commissionerate. Additionally, Audit-I Commissionerate Chennai and Commissioner Appeals-I, Chennai are operational with new jurisdictions from June 22, 2017.
